Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Every day, about 600 children and young people from across the UK arrive. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. And every day is a chance for you to make a difference. This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support to give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential. A better future for seriously ill children starts here.
We want to offer everyone with disabilities the opportunity to have a better quality of life, so we match, modify or create a wide variety of personalised technology to lend to them, opening up new worlds of fun, creativity and communication.
The Whitechapel Mission has been serving the homeless and marginalised since 1876 – including a day centre, skills training and career advice, activity programmes and specialist support for complex needs. By encouraging each person to address the issues which caused their homelessness, we help them to gain the skills and confidence to make lasting changes in their lives.
We believe everyone deserves a chance, regardless of their background, race or religion. We are open to all, without exception.
