ASICS London 10K and Weetabix Protein are inviting families to virtually take part in an exciting nationwide running initiative, the Weetabix Protein Youth Challenge, to encourage children across the country to get moving.
Entry to the Weetabix Protein Youth Challenge is completely full. Still want to take part? Register your interest to secure your spot in future youth events. Children and families can join the fun free of charge by tuning in to the weekly virtual fitness sessions live on Instagram or downloading a record card to track their own progress.
Challengers can complete a recommended minimum of 1 kilometre per week across a 10 week period. Those who would prefer to stay active at home, can join virtual weekly family fitness sessions led by celebrity fitness trainer, Faisal Abdalla aka Mr PMA. The 15 minute classes will be streamed live on Instagram at 4PM every. Wednesday between 27th May – 29th July, and then made available on Virgin Sport’s IGTV.

For every runner that signs up to take on the challenge, Weetabix Protein will donate one Weetabix On The Go Protein breakfast drink to FareShare. To keep participants motivated throughout the challenge, additional bottles will be donated for milestones achieved by families during the Weetabix Protein Youth Challenge!
FareShare is the UK’s longest running food redistribution charity. Its emergency coronavirus response distributes food and drinks to vulnerable people.
The Weetabix Protein Youth Challenge is a new youth running initiative brought to you by LimeLight Sports Club in partnership with Weetabix. Participants in the Weetabix Protein Youth Challenge will complete a multi-week virtual training plan and record their distances each week.

Up to 4,000 participants will receive an official Weetabix Protein ASICS t-shirt and a medal. Challengers will receive their t-shirt and medal in the post after completion of the 10-week virtual training plan. Registration is now closed. If you have not already secured your ticket you are not eligible to receive race rewards.
