Headway Oxfordshire is a charity that supports people affected by brain injury, as a result of a stroke, tumour, road incident and more. We provide three main services across the county: Activity and Rehabilitation Centre based in Kennington; 1-1 Community Support and Carer and Professional Training. From the initial traumatic stages in hospital, Headway Oxfordshire is with you every step of the rehabilitation journey and is committed to improving lives after brain injury.
Helen & Douglas House hospice improves the lives of local terminally ill children and their families. They are the world’s first children’s hospice and provide one- to-one care at their hospice in Oxford as well as end of life care at home and in hospital. They are a local charity which needs to raise £3.6m each year to fund care and they cannot do that without your help.
Oxfordshire Mind are here to make sure anyone in Oxfordshire with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support. Last year we helped over 30,000 people.
We promote good mental health through the provision of high quality services and campaigning for positive change. Our services include housing, talking therapies, benefits advice, a confidential and free information line, courses, physical activity programmes, volunteering opportunities, and peer-support groups.
We care for the people of Oxfordshire who are at the end of their lives and support their families, friends and carers. We have been doing it for more than 40 years.
Over the next four years we want to raise 4 million to care for more people and train others in the skills.
