Hackney Quest is a long-running independent charity and we have been supporting young people, families, and the wider community in Hackney since 1988 through a wide range of projects and programmes. We are deeply committed to Hackney’s young people, families, and community.
As well as a brilliant team of dedicated staff, we also have nearly 100 volunteers giving time and experience to Hackney Quest — supporting and running youth sessions, supervising trips, fundraising, mentoring, cooking meals, providing people with advice and guidance, and so much more.
At Ceasefire, our mission is to empower civilians everywhere to be able to access their basic human rights. We monitor and research human rights violations in war zones across the globe, helping civilians to access legal aid, and campaigning to provide justice in the wake of civilian rights violations. With your help, we can make the world a safer and fairer place for everyone.
The Felix Project is a food redistribution charity in London that is fighting tirelessly to combat food waste and hunger. At least 3 million tonnes of surplus food is generated by the UK food industry each year. At the same time, almost 4 million children in the UK live in households that struggle to afford to buy enough fruit, vegetables, and other nutritious foods. The Felix Project collects fresh, nutritious food that cannot be sold. We deliver this surplus food to charities and schools so they can provide healthy meals and help the most vulnerable in our society.
